Our Commercial Scratch-Resistant SPC Flooring is made at our 10,000+ m² factory in Dongying, Shandong, where we have been producing rigid core flooring for export since 2005. The plank is built as a three-barrier system: a UV-cured ceramic micro-bead top coat, an aluminum-oxide reinforced wear layer, and a 1,950–2,000 kg/m³ graphite-polymer SPC core. It is waterproof, formaldehyde-free, and tested on our in-house abrasion, chair-caster, and stain lines before shipping. Scratch resistance on SPC is not one coating — it is three layers stacked, and each one stops a different kind of damage. Cheap SPC usually has one layer. Ours has three.
A double-layer polyurethane coating with ceramic micro-beads embedded in the polymer matrix, not sitting on the surface. As the top layer wears, new micro-beads are exposed — so the scratch resistance renews itself instead of fading. This is the layer that resists keys, pet claws, and dropped tools.
The middle barrier. Aluminum-oxide particles are loaded onto a transparent PVC film during extrusion — the same abrasive used in industrial sandpaper. The higher the load, the higher the wear cycle count. Our 0.5–0.7 mm layer is at the top of the residential/commercial range.
The base that makes the other two work. A soft core sinks under load, and that depression travels up through the wear layer and cracks it. Our 1,950–2,000 kg/m³ graphite-polymer core spreads point loads evenly, so the top two layers stay intact under chair casters and heavy foot traffic.
What is the difference between UV-coated and regular PVC-coated SPC?
UV coating is an ultraviolet-cured paint. It cross-links into the surface and stays scratch-resistant, colorfast, and anti-aging over years. Ordinary PVC coating is a solvent film; on commercial traffic it starts peeling, staining, and losing gloss within the first year.
Will dirt build up in the seams?
The click-lock seams are tight and the surface has no deep grooves, so dust and grime do not collect. A regular vacuum or dry mop handles daily cleaning. For sticky marks, a damp mop with neutral pH cleaner is enough — no scrubbing machine needed.
Can sharp or heavy objects damage the surface?
The 9H UV layer resists daily bumps, dropped keys, and rolling chairs. A direct strike from a sharp heavy object — a falling knife, a steel corner dropping from height — can still leave a mark, because no PVC-based surface is harder than steel. For normal commercial and residential use it holds up without issues.
Is Commercial Scratch-Resistant SPC Flooring suitable for bathrooms and kitchens?
Yes for dry and semi-moist areas — kitchens, laundry rooms, and dry bathroom zones. The SPC core is waterproof and will not swell, unlike HDF laminate flooring. For wet zones like shower stalls we recommend a tile or fully waterproof SPC tile instead.
What certifications come with the product?
CE, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and EU E1/E0 formaldehyde emission standard. Test reports for wear resistance, slip resistance, and formaldehyde emission are available on request; third-party testing (SGS, Intertek) can be arranged at the customer's cost.
