MDF/HDF Click-Lock Laminate Flooring is not a single product — it is a production range where the buyer selects substrate, thickness, locking system, wear class, edge profile and surface finish against the application. Substrates are MDF, MHDF or HDF; thicknesses run 7 / 8 / 10 / 12 mm; wear layers cover AC1 – AC5; click systems include Arc, Single and Double Click; edge profiles include Square, V-Groove and U-Groove. An optional edge waterproof wax seal can be applied for moisture ingress protection. Manufactured by Shandong Mingzun New Materials Co., Ltd. — OEM, ODM and private label supported. Request specification sheetThe mistake most buyers make with this product range is treating it like a fixed SKU. It is not. Board quality is judged by density and thickness swelling rate — not by the name printed on the box. Two boards with the same thickness and the same surface finish can behave completely differently under a hotel corridor load if the substrate density and locking profile are not the same. The sections below cover each decision point in the order they affect the finished floor.
Final specifications, wear class, substrate, dimensions and warranty conditions should be confirmed against the selected product configuration and order documents.
The substrate carries the wear overlay, decor paper and balance layer, and takes the click-lock milling. It determines locking stability, moisture resistance, dimensional stability, foot feel and underfloor-heating compatibility.
Easy to chip during click profiling. Poor moisture resistance — higher risk of swelling and deformation in humid environments. Mainly applied for low-cost project flooring. Not recommended for underfloor heating.
Moderate structural stability. No unified international standard, so density and thickness swelling rate need to be confirmed before order. Fit for cost-sensitive economy-grade orders.
Clean click-lock cutting with minimum chipping. Low thickness swelling rate, outstanding anti-deformation. Solid foot feel. Moisture-resistant MR-HDF is available for enhanced water resistance. Widely adopted for residential and commercial laminate flooring, compatible with underfloor heating.
Important note: board quality shall be judged by actual density and thickness swelling rate, not only by the substrate name.
The click profile is milled directly on the HDF substrate. It locks planks horizontally and vertically, prevents gaps, lipping and separation, and absorbs floor expansion and contraction. Lock quality depends heavily on HDF density and milling accuracy.
Cost-effective arc-shaped non-patent profile. Moderate locking performance — suitable for economy-grade laminate flooring where the joint is not under continuous load.
Basic single-hook lock. Limited vertical locking strength — sufficient for entry-level low-cost flooring where the subfloor is perfectly flat and traffic is light.
Dual-hook double interlock. Improved locking force and better anti-gap performance. The correct choice where the floor will be under load from furniture movement or regular foot traffic.
AC classification should be selected against the expected traffic level and the tested specification of the flooring configuration — not the surface photograph.
Bedrooms and closets.
General residential — living rooms, dining rooms, studies, small apartments.
Also selected light commercial spaces. Children's rooms, entryways, open kitchens, small offices.
General commercial applications. Hotel projects, commercial stores.
Where the specified product has been tested for this class.
The available range should be confirmed against the actual test report and product specification. If a project requires a higher wear classification, confirm the applicable configuration with the manufacturer before ordering. AC classification should not be treated as the only selection factor — substrate density, surface construction, installation conditions and expected traffic should also be considered together.
Production focuses on controlling structural consistency from substrate preparation through final packaging — not just a final visual check.
Raw HDF cores pass incoming inspection, online monitoring and batch lab sampling. Lab tests cover internal bond strength, thickness swelling, modulus of rupture and formaldehyde emission.
Melamine-impregnated papers (wear overlay, decorative, balance) qualified on moisture and resin content before stacking in exact sequence.
Direct-pressure pressing under high heat and pressure. Melamine resin cross-links and bonds all layers into one board. EIR texture embossed simultaneously.
Boards cooled and conditioned to release internal stress before cutting and click-lock profiling. Skipping this stage is a common cause of warping after shipment.
Laminated boards cut to required dimensions and processed to the specified edge profile. Dimensional consistency matters for installation and visual alignment.
Edges precision-machined to create the click-lock structure. Profile accuracy checked — the locking geometry directly affects joint engagement during installation.
Appearance, dimensions, edge profile, surface condition and locking performance checked. Carton construction, palletisation and internal protection configured for the transport route.
For flooring distributors, wholesalers and project buyers, product consistency across a production batch is often as important as the appearance of an individual sample.
Certification scope and validity should be confirmed against current certificates and the specific flooring configuration before being used for a project, tender or market-compliance claim.
For project orders, buyers can also confirm applicable test reports and technical documents according to the target market and product specification. Ask for current certificate copies with your quotation.
Five reasons that come up in almost every buyer conversation about this range.
Quality control runs through the whole production workflow — incoming substrate inspection, lamination process control, precision machining, surface appearance check, click-profile testing and export-ready packaging. Every batch undergoes lab tests for density, thickness-swelling rate and formaldehyde emission.
The factory holds ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management-system certificates, together with CE and B1 fire-rating certification. All certification scope and validity should be verified against current certificates for project-tender and market compliance use.
More than a decade of laminate flooring manufacturing and international export experience. We support overseas distributors, wholesalers, and private-label / large-scale project flooring orders with stable factory-direct supply.
Seven thickness-and-substrate combinations across 7 – 12 mm. Seven surface finishes. Three edge profiles. Three click-lock systems. The specification is assembled per project rather than picked from a fixed list.
We provide comprehensive OEM and private-label services for laminate flooring. Technical parameters can be tailored — substrate grade, thickness, AC wear rating, click-lock system, EIR texture and edge waterproof wax-seal — according to client requirements.
Custom decors, surface finishes, plank sizes and balance-paper colours are supported. We produce goods under customers' own brand: custom carton printing, logo, series name, barcode and market-required markings are available. Relevant certificates such as ISO management-system certificates, CE and Fire-rating B1 can be supplied for target markets. Samples are offered for pre-production confirmation before bulk manufacturing.
With simple routine care, your click-lock laminate flooring stays beautiful and durable for years.
Lay doormats at entrances to trap outdoor dirt and grit. Fit floor protectors under furniture legs to avoid scratches.
Regularly vacuum or use a dust mop. Do not wax or polish laminate floors.
Use only warm water and a non-abrasive household cleaner.
Keep away from scouring powder, steel wool and abrasive cleansers — these damage the wear layer and cannot be repaired.
Food, juice, wine, grease: warm water + non-abrasive cleaner.
Tar, ink, lipstick, shoe polish, nail polish, cigarette burns: apply acetone or nail polish remover.
Candle wax: let wax harden, then scrape gently with a blunt scraper.
Small scratches or nicks can be fixed with colour-matched floor putty.
The repaired area is nearly invisible and maintains wear resistance — no need to replace the plank for surface damage.
Questions that come up most often before a container order.
Yes. We provide free samples for testing and evaluation. Please contact us for sample arrangements — international courier is normally paid by the buyer.
We are a manufacturer with our own production line, factory facilities, and R&D team. Certificates are issued to the manufacturing entity, which can be verified.
Standard delivery time is within 30 days after receiving the deposit payment. Exact lead time depends on order quantity, customisation requirements and the current production schedule — confirmed in writing with the order.
