Versailles parquet is normally a decision you make knowing it will need waxing, humidity control, and eventually a sanding. This product removes those three items from the specification sheet. What it does not remove is the pattern, the register embossing, or the visual weight that make the Versailles layout worth specifying in the first place.

Four separate steps — each one affects a different aspect of the finished surface.
A UV-cured coating applied over the wear layer. It improves stain and chemical resistance, makes routine cleaning easier, and protects against light surface scratches from daily traffic.
The embossed texture follows the printed wood grain pattern rather than running on a fixed repeat. This produces a matching grain texture and a surface that reads as three-dimensional instead of flat-printed.
Matte is low-reflection and reduces the visibility of footprints and minor scuffs — the standard for residential. Glossy gives higher light reflection for a brighter surface, used in commercial interiors where a gloss finish is specified.
The wear layer provides the main abrasion resistance. A thicker layer suits higher traffic and heavier commercial use. The UV coating and the wear layer perform different functions — the wear layer resists abrasion, the UV coating resists stains and improves cleaning performance.
Match the wear layer to actual traffic, not to the surface photograph.
The vinyl core has no wood fibre. It does not absorb water. That is the whole basis of the waterproof claim.
Versailles LVT is made from vinyl without wood fibre. The plank does not absorb water or swell when exposed to moisture, which is the failure mode that limits conventional laminate in kitchens and bathrooms.
Installation note: waterproof performance applies to the flooring plank. Seal the joints properly to prevent water from reaching the subfloor — the finished system depends on both the plank and the installation.
Produced on automated multi-layer calendering and lamination lines. Inspection runs at seven points from raw material to packed pallet.
Incoming PVC resin, stabilizers and fiberglass sheets are inspected before production. Base-material density, flexibility and dimensional stability are checked. Materials that do not meet production requirements are rejected.
The base layer, fiberglass stabilizing layer, decorative film and wear layer are compounded by continuous hot calendering and lamination. Total thickness runs 4.0 – 8.0 mm with online thickness monitoring throughout the process. Layer bonding and board thickness consistency are controlled on the line.
Automatic vision inspection checks the position of the printed grain before embossing. Boards with visible film offset, bubbles or colour differences are screened out before they reach the embossing stage.
Embossing rollers match the surface texture with the printed wood grain to produce the EIR surface. UV coating and curing are then applied for the specified surface finish. Online visual inspection checks for scratches, pinholes and uneven coating.
CNC equipment performs edge trimming and profile milling according to the flooring construction. For click-lock LVT, dimensional tolerances are controlled during edge and notch machining to maintain proper joint fit. For dry-back LVT, the bottom surface is processed for glue-down installation.
Sampled and checked for wear layer thickness (0.3 – 0.7 mm), Class B1 flammability, waterproof performance, underfloor heating adaptability, and surface appearance. The stated factory production pass rate is above 99.8%.
Qualified Versailles LVT is packed in cartons and secured on export pallets for shipment. For OEM and ODM orders, packaging can be customized according to the buyer's requirements.

Yes. The thick wear-resistant layer resists scratches and stains and is easy to clean — it handles scratches and stains from pets and is suitable for households with pets. For heavy pet traffic, specify the 0.5 mm or 0.7 mm wear layer.
The click-lock type is DIY-friendly, with no glue required and quick laying with simple tools. The dryback (glue-down) type is recommended to be installed by professional installers because the adhesive application affects the finished result.
Daily cleaning can be done by vacuuming or damp mopping. Avoid strong acid and alkali cleaners. Do not use sharp tools to scrape the floor surface. No waxing or polishing is required at any point in the product's life.
